Description

A zesty dipping sauce perfect for enhancing your seafood boil with buttery richness and vibrant flavors.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup of unsalted butter
  • 3 tablespoons of minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons of Old Bay seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons of lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of hot sauce
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon of chopped fresh parsley for garnish
  • Optional: A pinch of smoked paprika

Instructions

  1. Start by melting the butter in a medium saucepan over low to medium heat.
  2. Once the butter is melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes.
  3. Stir in the Old Bay seasoning until everything is integrated.
  4. Add the Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, and hot sauce to the mixture.
  5. Allow the sauce to simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Lastly, stir in chopped fresh parsley for fresh flavor and color.

Notes

For a healthier alternative, use olive oil instead of butter. If you’re vegan, swap the butter for vegan butter and ensure the Worcestershire sauce is plant-based.
