Description

A warm, hearty meal featuring tender chicken in a creamy sauce, perfect for easy slow cooking.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 packet (1 oz) ranch dressing mix
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Optional: fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Begin by prepping the chicken. Make sure that your boneless, skinless chicken breasts are clean and patted dry.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup, softened cream cheese, ranch dressing mix, chicken broth, garlic powder, and a sprinkle of salt and pepper.
  3. Pour the creamy mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker.
  4. Set your slow cooker on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours.
  5. About 30 minutes before you’re ready to serve, adjust the seasoning if desired.
  6. Once the chicken is cooked through and tender, shred it right in the slow cooker using two forks.

Notes

Feel free to swap out cream cheese for Greek yogurt for a healthier alternative.
